CAUSA was born from starting over — mine included.

Before moving to Australia, I worked alongside migrants and refugees — people rebuilding their lives in new languages, new places. I learned a lot from them. When I arrived in Melbourne, those stories started to mean something different to me too.

That’s where CAUSA came from. Not from a curriculum. From that need.

It’s a warm space — tender, I’d say. Where real Spanish means the expressions, the humour, the stories, the struggles, the way Latin Americans see and move through the world. All of it.

I make art too — because it’s another way I connect. Everything here — the classes, the workshops, the events, the conversations — exists for one reason.
