This is not a language exchange. It’s a guided encounter — with activities designed so connection actually happens. No waiting around hoping someone talks to you. No awkward silences. Just real people, real stories, and a little bit of chaos — in Spanish, in English, and in everything in between.

At the end of every CAUSA group class cycle, something special happens. Students don’t have an exam. They have a real conversation — with Melbourne Latinos who speak Spanish by their roots, who arrived from another country, who bring their own stories.
This is CAUSA’s bet on community. We believe learning a language shouldn’t only happen in a classroom. It should connect you to real people. And we believe that Latinos in Melbourne deserve a space to share who they are with people who genuinely want to listen.
